Lance Morel
Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
"The story of life
is quicker than the blink of an eye.
The story of love
is hello and goodbye.
Until we meet again..."

- Jimi Hendrix, last words

Life is not forever. Love is. We never imagined how difficult and empty life could be without you. You are loved and missed beyond words and you will always be in our hearts.

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Lance Morel who was born in Louisiana on October 15, 1979 and passed away on October 12, 2006 at the age of 26. We will remember him forever.

For more on Lance, please visit his old MySpace page, the Lance Morel Photo Set at Flickr (which includes all 422 photos that were played on the slideshow at his funeral), or his memorial/online grave marker, Lance Corey Morel, at Find A Grave.

On the year anniversary - 12 October 2007 - I have created a Moving Tribute to Lance, sponsored by The Advocate.  Please visit The Advocate's Moving Tribute page; type "Morel" in the search box to find Lance's tribute.

In addition, 50+ additional photos of Amber's have been scanned and added to the Lance Morel Photo Set at Flickr.

See him there
Most every day
A lonely man and his guitar
In his eyes, I see the pain
All the faces and the places
All the trouble that he's seen

Missing You   / Shanna
The veil is thin, this time of year.
Its hard to go through October
and to not shed a tear.

Your face and grin we see as clear
as the last time we heard "baka laka";
sometimes, its as if you were still here.Continue >>

If only I knew what I know today

I would hold you in my arms
I would take the pain away

This is one of our favorite clips - even though you can't see Lance (he's manning the camera) you can hear his voice and hear him laughing...a wonderful reminder of the fun, silly, happy Lance we remember best.
